Jocky Sanderson

Jocky Sanderson is one of the most experienced paragliding instructors in the world. With over 35 years in the sport, he has coached thousands of pilots from beginner to competition level, and is widely regarded as the foremost expert in SIV instruction.
Based in the beautiful Lake District, Jocky offers tandem paragliding flights over Derwentwater and the surrounding fells, runs world-renowned SIV courses in Oludeniz, Turkey, and shares his vast knowledge through his popular YouTube channel.
His approach to teaching is simple: make complex concepts accessible, build confidence through structured progression, and never compromise on safety.
