Tandem Paragliding Flights
Fly over the stunning Lake District with one of the world's most experienced tandem pilots
Your Flight Experience
Flying tandem with Jocky Sanderson is the easiest and most exhilarating way to experience paragliding. With over 30 years of experience, ranked 3rd in the world and former British paragliding team captain, you're in the safest possible hands. A team of highly trained backup pilots is also available.
You'll launch from one of several stunning fell-side locations around Keswick in the Lake District, soar with the birds above ancient valleys and shimmering lakes for 30 to 40 minutes, and land gently in the valley below or on the mountain top.
Every flight is unique. Depending on the weather, you might thermal up to cloudbase, ridge soar along the fells, or enjoy a smooth glide from summit to valley floor. Jocky will talk you through everything and you can even try the controls yourself if you'd like. Photos are taken during your flight.
Please note: You should be capable of walking uphill for up to 1 hour continuously and able to run short distances on sloping or undulating ground at launch. The walk to the launch site is part of the adventure.
