Wilderness First Aid

2-day BHPA-approved outdoor first aid course for pilots, guides, and instructors

First Aid for the Outdoors

This 2-day (16-hour) Wilderness First Aid course is specifically designed for paraglider pilots, hang glider pilots, outdoor guides, and instructors who operate in remote or mountainous environments where professional medical help may be far away.

The course covers everything from basic life support to managing trauma in the field, with a strong emphasis on practical, scenario-based learning. You'll gain the confidence and skills to deal with real emergencies when they happen.

Courses run in the Lake District and can be arranged for groups on request.
